The desire to design a sustainable home that would seamlessly integrate into the landscape resulted in an organically shaped single-story home that was optimally oriented from the inside to the garden zone and the landscape behind.
Because a single-story volume was created that changes in height and depth at well-thought-out places, we rather get a succession of volumes instead of one large mass. The use of materials consists exclusively of natural materials, brick, natural stone, and wood. These materials run seamlessly from the inside to the outside, replacing the boundary between them and making the house almost a continuation of the landscape.
Inside, mutual spaces also flow effortlessly into each other, creating a pleasant dynamic in the home. The roof is perforated in various places so that every room receives a lot of natural daylight. In the center of the house, this is combined with a large opening to the basement, so that it also benefits from natural light.
