The special shape and location of the site, a wedge-shaped plot, and also located on a roundabout, resulted in a pleasant home that certainly does not have to compromise on privacy or intimacy.
An arc-shaped volume was designed, closed to the street but completely open to the rear. The shape creates a certain patio feeling in the area behind. The surrounding plantings further enhance this feeling.
The fully glazed rear facade that gently swings away creates lines of sight that run back in from the outside and thus blur the boundaries between inside and outside
Inside, this has the effect that all ground floor spaces are interconnected with each other but still have their own place.
The first floor contains night areas, but in the spirit of adaptable living, the office on the ground floor can be converted into a bedroom with an accompanying bathroom.
